If you are in need of some some retail therapy the medieval towns of Chester and Shrewsbury are within easy reach both offering a wide range of high street and independent shops.

Snowdonia National Park with its magnificent scenery and wide range of outdoor activities is easily accessible as is Chester Zoo, Llandudno and the North Wales coast.

For those with an interest in the area’s history, the National Trust properties at Chirk Castle and Erddig Hall are both very close.

This is just the beginning – as one of our recent visitors put it, “What a location!”

There are good transport links in the area with train stations at Ruabon and Chirk with very easy access to Birmingham via Shrewsbury and Liverpool and Manchester via Chester. Regular bus services link Trevor to these stations as well as Wrexham and Llangollen and the surrounding villages.
